Hi and welcome to Misfit K9!

My name is Felicia and I am the owner & trainer at Misfit K9. I have been working with animals, specifically dogs, from the time I was able to volunteer at an animal hospital at the age of 13. This turned into my first job and the start of my career with animals. I am a certified emergency veterinary technician and have been in the veterinary field for 20 years.

I have always had an interest in dog psychology/behavior as well as training but the true spark came when I adopted Apollo, who is the face of the company. While he was and still is the sweetest boy, he also truly gave me a run for my money. He did everything possible to get into trouble and that is when I invested in professional dog training.

This changed Apollo’s and my life for the better. I want everyone to be able to enjoy being a dog parent and have the best possible relationship with their dog(s). My clients are family and I am here to help and support you for life. Thank you for being here and I can’t wait to work with you!
